Kangana’s Reflections on Aging
Through her Instagram Stories, Ranaut showcased two unfiltered images of herself dressed in a blue floral outfit, radiating confidence. In her post, she stated, “My pilgrim soul never feared aging but when my film crew saw grey hair they panicked, used mascaras/color sprays. Happy to be in a place where my aging face or body doesn’t take anything away from me. Aging is such a joy.”
Politics vs. Film Industry
Ranaut initiated a discussion among her followers by posing the question: is politics more forgiving towards older women compared to the film industry? She affirmed her belief that it is indeed kinder. She elaborated on her sense of tranquility in her new political role, remarking, “The most beautiful place in the world is where there is no gap between who you are and how you are perceived,” indicating a newfound personal freedom away from the pressures of the cinematic world.
Kangana’s Career Progression
Currently, Ranaut is setting her sights on Hollywood following her portrayal of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the political drama ‘Emergency.’ Despite receiving acclaim, the film struggled at the box office, grossing Rs 23.75 crore globally. The cast included notable figures such as Anupam Kher and the late Satish Kaushik.
As reported by Variety, Ranaut is poised to enter the Hollywood scene with her role in ‘Blessed Be The Evil,’ a supernatural horror film produced by Lions Movies, a US-based production company.
