Coast Health & Wellness Fair Returns to Snow Hill
Residents of Snow Hill, Maryland, mark your calendars for the Coast Health & Wellness Fair on Wednesday, May 14. This year, the event will be held at the Worcester County Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., offering a plethora of free health services and resources for the community.
Focus on Women’s Health
This year’s theme centers around “Women’s Health,” and attendees can expect a range of complimentary health screenings. Offerings include:
- Breast cancer screenings
- Bone density assessments
- Blood pressure checks
- Body composition analysis
- A1C level evaluations
- Functional movement screenings
Community Partnerships and Resources
The Coast Health & Wellness Fair is hosted by Worcester County Recreation & Parks and is set to welcome over 30 health and wellness partners, among them:
- CareFirst
- Worcester County Health Department
- Atlantic General Hospital
- Tidal Health
Additionally, the Blood Bank of Delmarva will conduct a blood drive on-site to encourage community participation in saving lives.
Supporting Attendees’ Health Journeys
Healthcare providers will offer signed notes for those participating in any of the health screenings. This initiative aims to assist individuals who may need to take time off from work or other commitments to attend the fair.
