Men’s Golf Achieves Second Place at Bryan Bros Collegiate
The Charlotte men’s golf team recently competed at the Bryan Bros Collegiate, held at Solinas Golf Club in Columbia, S.C., on September 28-29. The team secured a commendable second place, trailing only behind the LSU Tigers.

Following a thirteenth-place finish at the Red Sky Classic, the Charlotte women’s golf team is gearing up for the Mercedes-Benz Championship, set for October 5-7 at Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn. The event, hosted by the University of Tennessee, offers a chance for the 49ers to improve upon their tenth-place finish from the previous year.
Course Overview
Cherokee’s par-70 course, measuring 6,370 yards, is located approximately four miles from downtown Knoxville and has historical significance as a qualifier for the U.S. Open and Tennessee State Amateur.
