ATLANTA – Authorities are looking into a shooting incident that occurred on Thursday evening in northwest Atlanta, leaving a 23-year-old woman recovering in the hospital.

According to police reports, the victim arrived at Emory Midtown Hospital around 6:45 PM, bearing a gunshot wound to her right leg. Medical personnel confirmed she was alert and conscious while receiving treatment.
