PARKERSBURG — The Worthington Women’s Golf Association is set to kick off its activities for the 2025 golf season.
Event Launch: Annual Dues Coffee
The inaugural event, an annual dues coffee, is planned for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at the Worthington Club House. This gathering aims to welcome both returning members and those prospective members interested in joining the league.
Attendees can enjoy refreshments as they reconnect and discuss plans for the upcoming season. Participants are encouraged to register and pay their dues in preparation for the year ahead.
Season Schedule and Playing Options
The league’s regular play is scheduled to commence on May 6 and will continue each Tuesday through August 26. The season wraps up with a friendly 9-hole scramble on September 2, leading into the annual League Tournament.

- League Tournament for 2025 Champion: September 9 and 16.
Tee times will vary throughout the season, starting at 8 a.m. in May and September, and adjusting to 7:30 a.m. during the summer months of June through August. After each round, players are welcome to gather at the clubhouse for a luncheon hosted by the association members.
Special Events and Fun Day
Among the exciting ventures planned for this season is the annual Fun Day, scheduled for July 17. This year’s theme is “Safari Par-Tee,” encouraging participants to don animal prints to enhance the day’s festivities. This popular event typically attracts around 100 ladies from nearby courses, and further details will be shared as the date approaches.
