LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – In a hard-fought match on Saturday evening, Kutztown University’s women’s volleyball team was unable to overcome an early deficit, resulting in a four-set loss to Lock Haven. The defeat halted the Golden Bears’ two-match winning streak, bringing their overall record to 10-10 and 2-4 in the PSAC East conference.

The Golden Bears displayed resilience in the third set, responding promptly by taking a 4-1 lead and building on that momentum to secure a much-needed victory with a decisive 25-12 score.
As the match progressed to the fourth set, Kutztown aimed to force a fifth set, initially leading 21-16. However, Lock Haven made a comeback, scoring seven consecutive points to take a 23-21 lead, successfully closing out the match shortly thereafter.

Kutztown will continue their road journey, facing East Stroudsburg on Friday, October 24, at 7 p.m. This marks their third consecutive away match in the conference.
