New York, N.Y. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women’s volleyball team showcased a stellar performance, successfully sweeping Susquehanna University in three straight sets during the NYU Invitational held on Friday evening.

First Set
Stevens set the pace early, jumping to a 10-1 lead, driven by Sarah Bolduc’s potent serving, which included two aces. Kills from Ella Kraver and Eva Tarolli furthered the Ducks’ advantage. The defense was equally formidable, with Boland and Tarolli collaborating for crucial blocks. The first set concluded with Bolduc contributing another ace, and Molly Harris and Ava Stewart also added aces, sealing a 25-10 victory.
Second Set
The second set proved to be more competitive. Susquehanna managed to establish a 20-15 lead, posing the Ducks’ first significant challenge of the evening. Demonstrating resilience, Stevens rallied to secure 10 out of the last 11 points. Bolduc’s two aces and pivotal kills, along with strong plays from Boland, ultimately led to a comeback victory of 25-21.
Third Set
Continuing the momentum, the Ducks took a commanding 12-0 lead in the third set. Vivian Lisboa made an instant impact with several kills and a service ace. Stevens maintained control with contributions from Bolduc and Tarolli. As the set progressed, despite a brief Susquehanna rally, Stevens quickly regained dominance. The match concluded with a Tarolli-Boland block, resulting in a 25-15 final set win.
