Current Standings at MAC Outdoor Championships
York, PA (May 2, 2025) – Following the second day of competition at the MAC Outdoor Championships, the DeSales University women’s track and field team is currently positioned in seventh place. The event is being held at York College (PA).
Day One Achievements
On Thursday, the Bulldogs secured eight points, largely thanks to freshman Ellie Kozich, who claimed second place in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:43.36.
Friday Highlights
The team showcased even stronger performances on Friday:
- Freshman Brooke Signorella and senior Emma Ribeiro both advanced to the finals of the 100-meter sprint, clocking in at 12.65 and 12.75 seconds respectively.
- Freshman Kay Wiscount qualified for the 800-meter final, finishing with a time of 2:18.67.
Field Events Success
In the field events, Signorella had noteworthy outcomes:
- Tie for seventh place in the high jump with a height of 1.54 meters.
- Set a new school record in the long jump, finishing second with a leap of 5.74 meters.
Additionally, Ribeiro contributed to the team’s score by finishing sixth in the long jump, with a distance of 5.17 meters.
