CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In their opening event of the season, the Brown Women’s Swim and Dive team faced off against Harvard, concluding the meet with a score of 71-172 in favor of Harvard.
Performance Highlights
Crystal Yuen made a strong start for the Bears, winning the first event of the night—the 200 Freestyle—with a time of 1:48.21. Morgan Lukinac delivered a commendable performance, securing third place in the same event.
Yuen continued to impress by finishing second in the 500 Freestyle, clocking in at 4:55.55. Another standout for Brown was Isabella Dieffenthaller, who clinched victory in the 100 Free with a time of 50.94.
Emilia Barck contributed to the team’s efforts by finishing in third place in the 200 Individual Medley (IM).
Relay and Diving Events
In the concluding event of the evening, the Bears’ quartet, comprising Yuen, Lukinac, Angelina Chen, and Dieffenthaller, secured a second-place finish in the 400 Freestyle Relay.
In diving, Isabella George showcased her skills, finishing third in the 1-meter event with a score of 250.43.

Looking ahead, the Bears are set to host Yale at their home opener on November 1, starting at 12 p.m.. Fans can catch the action live as the meet will be streamed on ESPN+.
