On Tuesday morning, College Sports Communicators (CSC) revealed the 2025 Women’s Soccer Academic All-District Team, featuring five outstanding student-athletes from Lindenwood University. The honorees are Ava Blum, Jessica Dodd, Anna Johnson, Allison Schrumpf, and Lily Sutter, each recognized for their exceptional achievements both on the field and in the classroom.
Meet the Honorees
Ava Blum
Ava Blum, a senior midfielder hailing from St. Louis, is a Business Administration major. She maintains an impressive GPA of 3.87. This season, Blum was pivotal in the Lion’s midfield, starting all 20 matches and contributing four points to the team with one goal and two assists.
Jessica Dodd
Jessica Dodd, a defender from Ballwin, Missouri, is pursuing a degree in Nursing with a GPA of 3.91. Dodd showcased her defensive skills by starting in all 19 games this season and scoring her first career goal, which was a game-winner in a comeback victory against Southern Indiana.
Anna Johnson
Junior forward Anna Johnson, representing Oswego, Illinois, is a Sport Management major boasting a perfect GPA of 4.0. She has been a key player for the Lions, leading the team with 12 points during the 2025 season, which includes a team-high five goals and two assists.
Allison Schrumpf
Also a junior, Allison Schrumpf is a defender from St. Louis studying Data Science and holds a GPA of 3.94. She earned a spot on the 2025 All-OVC second team after starting all 20 games and playing a crucial role in the team’s defensive strategy, helping the Lions limit their opponents to an average of just 0.95 goals per game.
Lily Sutter
Lily Sutter, a senior forward from Dunlap, Illinois, is a Business Administration major with a GPA of 3.56. During the season, she started all 20 games, contributing significantly by logging 1,558 minutes on the pitch and scoring three points through one goal and one assist. Sutter also ranked third on the team with a total of 31 shots.
About the Academic All-District Program
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women’s Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, highlight the nation’s leading student-athletes who excel academically and athletically. The program acknowledges top performers across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. The Academic All-District honorees are eligible for consideration for the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, with first, second, and third-team selections to be announced in the near future.
