UIndy Women’s Lacrosse Achieves Fourth Place in National Rankings, Highlights Season Success
In a remarkable conclusion to their 2025 season, the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) women’s lacrosse team secured a fourth-place ranking in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) national poll, as announced on Tuesday.
National Semifinals Appearance
This season marked a significant milestone for the Greyhounds, as they advanced to the national semifinals for only the second time in their history. Their campaign concluded with a challenging match against eventual champion Tampa, held on Thursday in Salem, Virginia, at the campus of Roanoke College.
Midwest Region Achievement
UIndy distinguished itself by claiming the Midwest Region crown on May 17, triumphing over Maryville to secure a spot in the prestigious final four.
All-America Honors
This season, three Greyhounds were recognized with IWLCA All-America accolades:
- Olivia Bladon – 1st Team
- Amanda Hurry – 2nd Team
- Hollis Rang – 3rd Team
Additionally, Sage Da Silva, Hadlee DeCampos, and Caroline Krauch earned spots on the Midwest All-Region teams earlier this month, further showcasing the team’s talent.
Regional Performance
UIndy’s performance in the season not only highlighted their strength but also showcased the competitive landscape of the Midwest region, which saw other programs such as Maryville (7th), Regis (13th), and Grand Valley State (20th) also ranked in the top 20 of the national poll.
