Coastal Carolina Women’s Golf Team Heads to Evie Odom Invitational
Virginia Beach, Va. – The Coastal Carolina women’s golf team is set to participate in the Evie Odom Invitational from October 16-18, marking their fourth and final tournament of the fall season.
Competing Teams
The Chants will compete alongside a strong field of 13 teams, including host Old Dominion, as well as Colorado State, Furman, Georgia, James Madison University, Maryland, North Florida, Penn State, Richmond, South Alabama, and individual players from Tennessee and UNC Greensboro.

Recent Success
Carla Bourdeaux enters the tournament with momentum, having recently captured the individual title at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in late September. Her performance earned her the distinction of Sun Belt Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Tournament History
The Evie Odom Invitational has been a regular stop for the Chants, who are making their fifth consecutive appearance at the event. Their best finish occurred in 2021, where they secured a third-place spot.
