Baylor Women’s Golf Team to Compete in Prairie Dunes Invitational
WACO, Texas – The Baylor women’s golf team is set to continue its fall season this weekend at the prestigious Prairie Dunes Invitational, taking place at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas. The team will feature a five-player lineup consisting of Bridget Boczar, Malena Castro, Yurang Li, Amelia Wan, and Charlotte Brook.
Strong Start to the Season
Entering the tournament with significant momentum, Baylor has achieved impressive results in its previous outings. The Bears secured a runner-up finish with a score of +10 at the Folds of Honor Collegiate and followed that performance with a fifth-place finish at the Mason Rudolph Championship, finishing at +11. With a team scoring average of 289.5 over six rounds this fall, Baylor has a head-to-head record of 21-5 against Division I opponents, showcasing their competitive edge.

- Malena Castro: Castro has emerged as a standout player early this season, highlighted by a career-best tie for sixth place at the Mason Rudolph Championship.
