Coastal Carolina Women’s Golf Team Kicks Off Season Strong
PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women’s golf team opened its season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, held at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. After the first round, the team secured a commendable second place with a total score of 284.
Individual Performances
Sophomore golfer Ella Murray stood out during the opening round, leading the team with a score of 69, which places her at -2 for the day. Murray is currently tied for seventh overall. Meanwhile, junior Varatkarn Kunkaew displayed consistent performance, carding an even-par score of 71, leaving her tied for 18th position.
Upcoming Rounds
The Coastal Carolina team will continue its challenge as they head into the second round, set to commence tomorrow at 9:15 a.m.
