Performance Recap: University of Hawai’i Women’s Golf Team
UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The University of Hawai’i’s women’s golf team concluded the Leadership and Golf Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Course, finishing in 14th place. The Rainbow Wahine recorded a team score of 307, accumulating a total of 922 over three rounds.
Team Standings
Eastern Michigan emerged victorious in the tournament, capturing the title with a score of 859. They were followed closely by Oregon State, which finished four strokes behind at 863.
Individual Highlights
Leading the Rainbow Wahine was Maline Kraus, who finished tied for 24th with a score of 8-over 224 after a final round of 74. Notably, freshman Chloe Ku made her collegiate debut, tying for 44th place by finishing at 12-over 228.

Medalist and Upcoming Events
The individual champion of the tournament was Janae Leovao from Eastern Michigan, who finished at 7-under 209, edging out San Jose State’s Moa Andersson by a single stroke.
The University of Hawai’i women’s golf team has their next competition scheduled for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate from October 3-5 in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
