Belmont Women’s Golf Team Competes at The Judson
HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Belmont women’s golf team concluded their participation in The Judson tournament, held at Hattiesburg Country Club, by securing a tie for seventh place. The Bruins finished with a total score of 917 after recording a final round of 305. They shared the seventh position with Lamar.
Team Performance
Southern Miss claimed the team championship after a playoff against Tulane, finishing with a score of 851.
Individual Highlights
Leading the charge for Belmont was sophomore Sloane Biddle from Old Hickory, Tennessee. Biddle achieved an impressive final round score of three-under par 69, allowing her to rise to a tie for 15th place with a cumulative score of 220. She finished just nine strokes behind the medalist, Taylor Trible of Southern Miss, who recorded a score of 211.
This round of 69 marked the lowest score achieved by any Bruin this season and was only one stroke away from Biddle’s career-best round of 68, which she accomplished last season. Notably, this performance also represented her fourth finish within the top-15 this fall.
Other Players’ Scores
Graduate student Chloe Tarkany concluded the tournament tied for 26th place with a score of 227, after posting a final round of 75. Other scores from the Belmont players included:

- Lauren Davis: 52nd, 240
- Sophie Skoog: T-57, 247
Upcoming Events
The Bruins will take a brief pause before returning to competitive play this weekend at The Robbie tournament, scheduled for Friday through Sunday in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, just outside Huntsville.
