NEW YORK – The Fordham University women’s basketball team is set to host Duquesne in their second consecutive game at the Rose Hill Gym, just two weeks away from the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship.

Rams at a Glance
Currently at a record of 13-12 (7-7 A-10), Fordham is eager to rebound after a recent 76-57 loss to VCU, aiming to break a streak of five defeats in their last six outings.
The Rams will finish off the regular season with three of their last four games against previously faced opponents, starting with Duquesne on Wednesday, followed by a match against Dayton on Saturday and a home game against La Salle next Wednesday.
Defensively, Fordham has successfully held five of their last eight opponents to under 60 points and has limited 14 teams overall this season to 59 points or fewer.
As of midweek, Fordham stands as the No. 9 seed in the A-10, with four games left before the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship in Henrico, VA, from March 5-9.

In total rebounds, the Rams average 38.84 per game, placing them third in the A-10 and 76th in the nation.
Defensively, Fordham ranks 61st in the NCAA and third in the A-10 for forcing an average of 18.8 turnovers per game.
They also average 9.4 steals, ranking fourth in the league and 84th nationally.
Leading the Herd
Donaldson leads the Rams’ offense, ranking third in the A-10 with an average of 16.6 points per game. She also leads the conference with 2.68 three-pointers made per game, which is 23rd highest in the nation.
Irene Murua has been vital to the team’s success, ranking third in field goal percentage at 55.9% and averaging 6.3 rebounds per game.
Taya Davis leads the team with 4.6 assists per game, ranking second in the A-10 and 63rd nationally.
Chaé Harris has also been a key player, averaging 9.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Matchup History
This will be the second meeting of the season between Fordham and Duquesne, with Fordham narrowly winning the first matchup 64-62 on January 5.
Fordham has claimed victory in eight of the last ten encounters, though Duquesne leads the overall series 23-13.
The Rams have triumphed in each of their last three home games against the Dukes, dating back to the 2016 season.
Dueling with the Dukes
Duquesne stands at 16-9 this season and is tied with Fordham for eighth place in the A-10 with a 7-7 conference record.
The Dukes recently snapped a three-game losing streak with a 75-70 win against Loyola Chicago.
Leading the A-10, Duquesne ranks 25th nationally with an average of 11.3 steals per game and is also fifth in the nation for made three-pointers, averaging 10.2.
Megan McConnell leads the league in both assists and steals per game and ranks second in points per game and free throws attempted.
Last Time Out
In an action-packed game similar to the exhilarating Daytona 500, Fordham faced a tough challenge against VCU, ultimately losing 76-57. After a fast-paced start, Fordham trailed by just four after the first quarter and six at halftime.
However, VCU surged ahead in the second half, outscoring the Rams 32-19, despite three Fordham players reaching double figures in scoring.
Irene Murua led the way with 15 points, followed by Taya Davis and Amiyah Ferguson, both contributing crucial points off the bench.

Fordham will next travel to Dayton, Ohio, for their second meeting with the Flyers on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
