COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri women’s basketball team will conclude its two-game homestand at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, facing off against Little Rock. Fans can catch the action live on SEC Network+.
Coming off a commanding 112-59 win over Saint Louis on Wednesday, the Tigers showcased an impressive performance.
The 53-point margin of victory represents the largest win since Missouri bested Bradley 126-55 on December 12, 2013.
This victory saw the Tigers hit the century mark for the first time since February 23, 2017, when they scored 100 points against Ole Miss.
The team set season records with 49 rebounds, 22 assists, and 15 steals in this latest contest.
Five players reached double figures for the Tigers, a first since January 7, 2024, against Alabama.
Sophomore Abbey Schreacke led the scoring with 19 points, hitting five three-pointers and shooting 60% from the field.
In her recent outings, Schreacke has accumulated 45 points over two games, serving as a pivotal player off the bench for Missouri this season.
Currently, she ranks third in the nation with 24 three-pointers made this season and is sixth overall, averaging 4.0 threes per game. Additionally, she stands fourth in the SEC for three-point shooting percentage at an impressive 51.1%.
As a unit, the Tigers are not only second in the SEC but also 16th nationally for three-point shooting with a success rate of 42.1%.
Senior Laniah Randle made a notable contribution with a season-high 15 points, marking her fifth double-digit scoring game of the season. Randle also secured seven rebounds.
Sophomore Grace Slaughter contributed 14 points along with three rebounds, and she is tied for 25th nationally with 25 free throws made this year.
Graduate Angelique Ngalakulondi added 11 points and seven rebounds to the Tigers’ efforts.
Junior Ashton Judd rounded out Missouri’s double-digit scorers with 10 points.
Friday’s matchup will be a first encounter for the Tigers against Little Rock, who head into the game with a 1-3 record after falling to No. 10 Kansas State earlier this week.
Last season, the Trojans finished with a record of 12-18, including an 11-7 performance in the Ohio Valley Conference, where they were defeated by UT Martin in the conference tournament semifinals.
Under the leadership of first-year head coach Steve Wiedower, Little Rock is led by standout player Faith Lee, who averages 14.5 points per game, and graduate Sug Williams, contributing 11.0 points and 5.8 rebounds.
This game will also feature the annual Columbia Public Schools education event, welcoming over 3,000 students to Mizzou Arena.
