Overview of Prize Money
The All England Club has announced that the total prize money for the 2025 Wimbledon Championships will reach £53.5 million, reflecting a 7% increase from the previous year. This rise is part of Wimbledon’s continual effort to elevate the financial rewards for its participants.
Both men’s and women’s singles champions will each receive £3 million, marking a significant boost for the top athletes.
Singles Prize Money Distribution
The total earnings for players in the singles main draws will also see an 8.2% increase compared to 2024. Below is the breakdown of prize money across various rounds:
- Champion: £3,000,000
- Finalist: £1,520,000
- Semi-Finalist: £775,000
- Quarter-Finalist: £400,000
- Round of 16: £240,000
- Round of 32: £152,000
- Round of 64: £99,000
- Round of 128: £66,000
Qualifying Singles Prize Money
The prize money for those competing in the qualifying rounds has also been updated, as detailed below:
- Round 3: £41,500
- Round 2: £26,000
- Round 1: £15,500
Doubles Prize Money Distribution
Teams competing in the doubles competition will also see lucrative rewards, with the following allocations:
- Champions: £680,000 (per team)
- Finalists: £345,000 (per team)
- Semi-Finalists: £174,000 (per team)
- Quarter-Finalists: £87,500 (per team)
- Round of 16: £43,750 (per team)
- Round of 32: £26,000 (per team)
- Round of 128: £16,500 (per team)
