Overview of the 2025 French Open Women’s Singles Tournament

Event Details

The 2025 French Open, known as Roland Garros, is scheduled to take place from May 25 to June 8 at the renowned clay courts of Stade Roland Garros. This edition marks the 124th installment of the prestigious tournament.

The main draw for the women’s singles boasts a total of 128 competitors, which includes:

  • 104 direct entrants
  • 8 wildcards
  • 16 qualifiers

This year, the French Tennis Federation has allocated six out of eight wildcards to French players. The recipients are:

The financial rewards for the women’s singles are significant, with the prize money allocated as follows:
