In the second set, Harvard again surged to a 6-2 lead but faced tough competition as Washington State rallied. The teams traded leads, with Harvard ahead 12-7 at one point, yet the Cougars eventually regained control to win the set 31-29 after a fierce battle.

The final set saw Harvard trying to regain momentum, taking a brief lead at 16-15. However, the Cougars managed to close out the match, securing a 25-22 win in a competitive third set.

Individual Highlights

  • Farquhar achieved a season-best in kills with an impressive .450 hitting percentage.
  • Sophia Wei and Nicole Cornell each contributed 19 assists, while Wei also added three aces and 12 digs.
  • Hannah Nguyen had a solid performance as libero, recording 11 digs.
  • As a team, Harvard recorded a total of 47 kills, hitting a season-best .314.
