MUNCIE, Ind. – Fans of Ball State women’s volleyball will have the opportunity to see their team in action for the first time this Saturday. The Cardinals are set to host Cedarville for an exhibition match at Worthen Arena, beginning at 2 p.m. Admission to this event is complimentary for all attendees, although due to the exhibition nature of the match, live streaming and statistics will not be available.
As a result of ongoing construction at Worthen Arena, spectators are advised to enter through the upper-level Gate 4. Ball State students should continue to use Gate 3, and accessible entry will be provided at the far-left side of Gate 1. It’s also important to note that the university’s new clear bag policy will be enforced during the event.
This season, the Cardinals are welcoming back nine players from last year’s roster, which concluded the season with a 22-10 record, positioning themselves tied for third place in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) with a 13-5 league standing. One key player to watch is Carson Tyler, who was recognized as the 2024 MAC and AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year. Last season, Tyler excelled in leading the Ball State offense, achieving an average of 3.34 kills per set, which placed her seventh in the conference.
For fans eager to support the team throughout the season, season tickets are available for purchase. Pricing for women’s volleyball season tickets is set at $54 for adults and $19 for youth (18 years and under). Additionally, combined season tickets for both men’s and women’s volleyball are offered at $89 for adults and $30 for youth. Interested supporters can find more information by clicking here.
