About Mrunali
Mrunali Ilamkar is a skilled people manager at Rockwell Automation, where she oversees teams across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the UK. Joining the company in 2023, she quickly became a member and global ambassador for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) in 2024. With over 15 years of experience in the automation sector, she holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication and a Master of Business Administration specializing in Sales and Marketing. Additionally, Mrunali is PMP certified and holds a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Mrunali participates actively in the SWE community. Her journey began with attending the SWE Pune Diversity Roundtable at Eaton, where she took part in enriching discussions about initiatives aimed at cultivating a more inclusive atmosphere for women in technology.
Moreover, Mrunali represented Rockwell Automation at SWE Pune Affiliates 2024, underscoring the company’s dedication to diversity and the benefits of SWE involvement.
Building on her experiences, she played a crucial role in WE Local Bengaluru 2024 by reviewing breakout sessions to ensure they were insightful and engaging for attendees.

During campus recruitment, Mrunali promotes diversity hiring and advocates for SWE events. She shares her personal experiences and encourages students to join SWE, highlighting the multitude of opportunities and advantages it provides.
Future SWE Initiatives
Mrunali is deeply involved in initiatives that connect academia with the professional realm. She is currently leading the “Campus to Corporate” event—a collaborative effort between Rockwell and SWE that aims to equip students with insights into the corporate landscape and facilitate connections with industry professionals. This event is set to take place on March 7, coinciding with International Women’s Day.
Looking forward, Mrunali intends to attend WE Local Bengaluru 2025 in April, eager to absorb valuable knowledge and network with other passionate women in technology.
She is also committed to mentoring students, having recently participated in a SWE event at VIT Bibvewadi, Pune, where she shared her insights and guidance on career development.
Furthermore, Mrunali is actively working towards establishing an official SWE group at Symbiosis College, aimed at providing students access to exclusive resources, networking opportunities, and a supportive community.

Beyond her SWE engagement, Mrunali is dedicated to empowering women through her involvement in the AP Mentor Circle for women’s leadership.
