Performance Highlights at the Kohawk Classic
Cedar Falls hosted the Kohawk Classic, where Central College’s women’s golf team showcased strong performances over the weekend. Among them, sophomore Allie Pfantz delivered an impressive round, finishing the two-day event with a total score of 155.
Individual Achievements
Pfantz, from State Center and a graduate of West Marshall High School, recorded a final round score of 78, which secured her a spot in the top ten at the tournament. Her two-day performance included three birdies, illustrating her competitive edge on the par-72 Pheasant Hill Golf Course. This accomplishment earned her a 10th place finish overall in the competition.
Team Performance
The Dutch team concluded the event in ninth position with a cumulative score of 670, comprised of rounds of 337 and 333. Mount Mercy University emerged as the champions, posting an impressive total of 599 with scores of 297 and 302.

Looking Ahead
Central College will continue its season by participating in the Wartburg Invitational, scheduled for next Saturday and Sunday at the Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly. The team aims to build on their recent experiences and improve their standings in upcoming events.
