PITTSBURGH: Early Sunday morning, two women were hospitalized following a stabbing incident in the Perry South neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Emergency services received a call around 1:15 a.m., reporting the situation on Strauss Street.
Upon arrival, first responders discovered the two individuals injured on the street. One of the victims sustained multiple stab wounds affecting her face, head, and lower back. She was transported to the hospital and is currently in serious but stable condition.
The second victim, however, suffered more critical injuries with stab wounds to the abdomen and was taken to a medical facility in critical condition.
Pittsburgh Public Safety indicated that details surrounding the incident are scarce, as eyewitnesses at the scene have not been cooperative with authorities. The police are actively investigating the matter.
