This highlights the second installment in a three-part series that encompasses the Deloitte Swiss Watch Industry Insights for this year. It aims to provide a comprehensive examination of the women’s watch market.
In its 2022 study, Deloitte projected a promising future for the watch industry, particularly geared towards female consumers. This Spotlight draws insights from interviews with influential figures in watch brands, retail institutions, and the watch collector community, offering a wider perspective on the opportunities within the female watch market.
Additionally, this report is backed by online surveys conducted by Deloitte and Watch Femme between August and September 2024. Deloitte gathered responses from 6,000 consumers in key Swiss markets and leading export regions for Swiss watches, including China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Singapore, the UAE, the UK, and the USA. Meanwhile, Watch Femme engaged an informed group of 107 experienced watch enthusiasts and industry professionals across 13 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Malaysia, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, the UK, and the USA.
