St. Olaf Women’s Golf Team Claims Seventh Place at Bethel University Rumble
In a competitive showing at the Bethel University Rumble at the Ridge, the St. Olaf College women’s golf team concluded the tournament in seventh place among nine participating teams. The event was held at the Oneka Ridge Golf Course on Saturday.
Team Performance
The Oles achieved a team score of 349, which translates to +61 over par. This performance placed them six strokes ahead of UW-Superior, highlighting a solid effort despite the challenging course.
Top Individual Results
Sophomore Solveig Senf led the team with a notable 20th-place finish, posting a round of 83 (+11). Her performance included two birdies on the par-four second and 12th holes. Close behind her, sophomore Marit Lyle tied for 23rd place with a score of 84 (+12), finishing just one stroke off Senf’s pace.

Competing as an individual, senior Kate Young finished tied for 37th with a score of 89 (+17). First-year golfer Anneliese Carlson, alongside sophomores Ella Wright and Kadyn Triebenbach, all shared scores of 91 (+19), leading to a tie for 42nd place.

The St. Olaf women’s golf team is set to conclude its season with the St. Olaf/Carleton Invite, co-hosted at Willingers Golf Course on April 26-27. This event will provide the team with a final opportunity to showcase their skills as they wrap up the competitive season.
