Macalester Women’s Golf Team Competes in St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite
NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s golf team faced stiff competition at the St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite, held over the weekend at Willingers Golf Course. After two rounds of play, the Scots secured an eighth-place finish among 11 participating teams, accumulating a total score of 688.
Individual Highlights
Leading the Scots was junior Bailey Lengfelder from Renton, Washington, who achieved an impressive two-round score of 162, placing her in a tie for 13th overall. Following her were:
- Mia Cluff (First Year) – Tied for 36th
- Kirstyn Hope Barsola (Senior) – Tied for 36th; achieved her season-low round of 84 on the second day
- Ava Austria (First Year) – Tied for 42nd
- Elsa Vieregg (Senior) – Finished in 68th place
Upcoming Competitions
The Macalester College women’s golf team will continue their season with participation in the St. Catherine/Carleton Spring Invite, scheduled for May 3-4 at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
