Women Unite for Trump’s Inauguration in Delafield
DELAFIELD, Wis. — While numerous individuals watched the Inauguration of President Donald Trump from their homes or workplaces, a remarkable gathering took place in Delafield, where about 100 women came together to celebrate this pivotal moment.
Local Republican Women Host Viewing Party
The Republican Women of Waukesha County organized a lively viewing party to mark Trump’s inauguration. Many of the representatives there had actively campaigned for his election, demonstrating their dedication to conservative values and community engagement.
Community Involvement and Increased Membership
Jessica McGarry, vice president of the Republican Women of Waukesha County, highlighted the organization’s growing membership. “We have a lot of moms who are engaged in the community,” she noted. “They desire to uphold conservative, America-first values for their children, making it crucial to recognize the hard work these women contributed to get Donald Trump elected this year.”
A Joyous Celebration
As Trump took the oath of office, the room erupted with cheers, and some attendees were visibly moved to tears, expressing their enthusiasm for the historic occasion. The excitement transcended the inauguration, with many attendees, including Heidi Anderson, viewing this transition as a significant opportunity to align government policies with their values.
Looking Ahead with Optimism
Reflecting on the future, Anderson shared her aspirations: “Leaving a legacy for our kids in a world where they can thrive is essential. We want them to honor their country as their ancestors did and uphold the values of freedom of speech, which is our greatest gift.”
McGarry expressed her hope for unity and growth within the organization. “We’re witnessing an influx of young, new Republican members who have discovered a welcoming space here that was previously unavailable to them,” she stated, emphasizing a renewed spirit for collaboration and action in the coming years.
