TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– Melina Rebimbas, a prominent player from Alabama, is set to participate in her second consecutive training camp with the U.S. U-20 Women’s National Team. The camp will be held at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, from June 24 to July 1. This event features a roster of 24 players.
Previously, Rebimbas attended a U-20 training camp from May 26 to June 2, tailored for athletes born in 2005 who are ineligible for the upcoming FIFA U-20 World Cup. This current training camp is structured to advance the skills of players who might transition to the U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team and further their careers within the national program.
Rebimbas is no stranger to national competitions; she has previously represented the United States at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India. Notably, she is among seven players in this week’s roster who have experience from a FIFA Youth Women’s World Cup.
The training camp focuses on athletes born in 2005, excluding those who participated in the recent 2025 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship in Costa Rica. This initiative aims to enhance their development and prepare them for future competitions in women’s soccer.
