Penn State Women’s Volleyball Claims National Championship Title
Penn State’s women’s volleyball team achieved a significant victory over Louisville, triumphing with a score of 3-1 in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship. This notable win marks an important milestone for head coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley, who becomes the first female head coach in Division I women’s volleyball history to secure a national championship title.
With this victory, Penn State has solidified its legacy by claiming a total of eight national titles, just one behind Stanford, which holds the record of nine in NCAA Division I women’s volleyball history.
