On March 12, 2025, a group of Panther middle schoolers visited Southeast Technical College to discover exciting career opportunities in science and technology geared towards women. Empowering Young Women in Science and Technology
On the morning of March 12, 2025, a significant event unfolded as many 8th-grade Panthers participated in the 20th annual “Women in Science” conference held at Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls. This inspiring event ran from 8:45 am to 2 pm and attracted over 900 students from the surrounding areas.
Exploring New Horizons
The conference featured more than 20 interactive exhibits designed to encourage young women to explore careers in STEM fields. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with various presentations and displays, fostering an enriching environment aimed at inspiring the next generation of female leaders in science and technology.
