Overview of the BDS Movement’s Call to Action

The Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement has designated November 22 as a global day of action. This initiative particularly targets Chevron, holding the company accountable for its involvement in Israel’s activities related to apartheid and genocide, as well as its detrimental impact on the environment worldwide.

Chevron is reported to supply approximately 70% of Israel’s energy requirements through its gas fields and pipeline services. This data is corroborated by information from Chevron itself, which also notes the company’s substantial contribution to Israel’s tax revenues since it entered the market in 2020.

The CODEPINK chapter in Orange County invites community members to participate in a boycott of Chevron. The event encourages attendees to bring signs and wear pink to show solidarity.
