Women in Northern Ireland Urged to Participate in Vital Health Needs Survey
The Women’s Health Survey for Northern Ireland invites women to share their health experiences and needs in a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing women’s healthcare.
This important study, partially funded by the Department of Health, marks the initial phase of a public consultation specifically addressing the healthcare issues faced by women in Northern Ireland.
Conducted by the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Queen’s University, Belfast in collaboration with Derry Well Women, the survey seeks to gather direct input from women regarding their unique health challenges and preferences.
Through this survey, anonymous data will be collected on various aspects, such as women’s health priorities, obstacles to accessing healthcare services, and the integration of women’s perspectives in healthcare planning and delivery.
Women aged 16 and above are particularly encouraged to participate, ensuring that their voices resonate in conversations about women’s health across Northern Ireland.
The survey is open until January 31, 2025, providing an online platform for participation. Women can also request a paper copy by reaching out to the research team at womenshealthni@qub.ac.uk.
Completing the survey will take approximately 20 minutes, with all responses remaining anonymous and strictly utilized for research purposes.
