New Signings: Poppy Pritchard Joins Newcastle United Women
Newcastle United Women have made an exciting addition to their squad by signing 19-year-old centre forward Poppy Pritchard on loan. Pritchard previously spent the first half of the season at Crystal Palace, where she showcased her skills with six appearances in various competitions for the Women’s Super League team.
Impressive International Record
In addition to her club commitments, Pritchard has made her mark on the international stage as well. Last summer, she represented England in the European Under-19s Championship, impressively scoring four goals in just four matches, including a spectacular hat-trick against Lithuania.
Path to Newcastle United
Before making her way to Manchester City in January 2024, Pritchard spent two years playing with Durham Women. Her journey has led her back to Newcastle, a club that holds significant meaning for her.
