Scheduled to open on September 15, Chapstick Lounge will be a new bar and restaurant focused on women’s sports. Located at 1400 Woodland Street, this establishment is the sister business to the well-established Lipstick Lounge, which has served the community for over two decades.

The venue will feature 1,500 square feet of space, including an outdoor patio, with construction having begun in May 2024. Initial plans called for an earlier opening this year, but the date was adjusted.

Nashville’s popular Thai street food entity, S.S. Gai, is making strides with its new standalone location, set to open in late 2026 after two successful years at The Wash. The new restaurant will be situated at 1106 Chester Avenue, in a 1,300-square-foot space that previously housed The Golden Door bar.

This venture is part of a strategic expansion, as the ownership team aims to enhance customer experience by providing indoor seating for 50 patrons and incorporating a wider variety of menu items, including a kid’s menu alongside its renowned fried chicken offerings.

Additionally, Party Fowl is preparing to launch its third location, which will be positioned near the Vanderbilt University campus at 2031 Broadway. This site previously served as Ichigo Ichie and adds to Party Fowl’s existing establishments in Donelson and at the Nashville International Airport. Plans are also underway for new locations in Murfreesboro and Sylvan Park.
