Navy Women’s Soccer Welcomes New Recruits for the Upcoming Season
ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Navy women’s soccer team, under the guidance of head coach Carin Gabarra, is excited to announce the addition of eight new recruits as they prepare for the upcoming season. The newcomers, set to integrate into the program as summer training camp progresses, include:
Meet the Recruits
- Jane Ambrozy – Defender
Hometown: Dublin, Ohio – Hilliard Davidson High School
Highlights: Transitioned from Hilliard Davidson to club play with ECNL teams. Key contributor in Ohio Premier’s success during her sophomore year. - Jessica Black – Forward
Hometown: Cedaredge, Colorado – Cedaredge High School
Highlights: A versatile athlete, she excelled in soccer, basketball, and track. Notably, she was the leading scorer in Colorado high school soccer in 2025 with 50 goals in a single season. - Helen Bonner – Forward/Defender
Hometown: McLean, Virginia – Georgetown Visitation Prep School
Highlights: An accomplished player recognized as D.C. Player of the Year in 2023. Also a state champion in the 800 meters. - Lizzie Fetterman – Defender
Hometown: Bay Village, Ohio – Bay High School
Highlights: Integral to Bay High’s soccer team that achieved a historic state championship, securing multiple All-Greater Cleveland accolades. - Sona Gonzales – Forward
Hometown: Henderson, Nevada – Pinecrest Academy Cadence
Highlights: Demonstrated offensive prowess with an impressive 48 goals and assists combined in her junior and senior seasons. - Faith Graziano – Midfielder
Hometown: Middlebury, Connecticut – Taft School (formerly with University of Miami)
Highlights: A Division I transfer known for her multi-sport involvement and accolades, including All-Western New England Prep School honors. - Katia Katsari-Hoefer – Midfielder
Hometown: Herndon, Virginia – South Lakes High School
Highlights: An athletic standout recognized for her contributions in both soccer and track, as well as her achievements with the Virginia Union ECNL club. - Emmalea Sidorsky – Defender
Hometown: Ocoee, Florida – Orlando Science High School
Highlights: Achievements in ECNL competitions and leadership in her high school’s flag football program.
