Coach Maness expressed enthusiasm about Gott’s hiring, stating, “Morgan is an exceptional coach that is also bringing head coaching experience to our staff. Gott expressed her excitement about joining KSU’s women’s lacrosse program, noting, “I’m thrilled to be joining the women’s lacrosse staff at KSU. I want to thank Laura Maness for the opportunity to be a part of a program that competes among some of the best teams in the south. My goal is to help the team earn a spot in the conference tournament and show everyone what Kennesaw State has to offer.”

Gott’s journey with Saint Francis commenced as an assistant coach in September 2022, where she contributed to the program achieving its first-ever winning season.
