NSIC Championships: Minot State Women’s Golf Team Update
SMITHVILLE, Mo. – The Minot State women’s golf team completed the second round of the NSIC Championships, recording a score of 46-over par 334. As a result, the Beavers currently sit in 9th place with a two-round total of 90-over par 666.
Leading Performance
Lauryn Keller has been the standout player for Minot State, maintaining her position with a tie for 9th place in the individual rankings. After an 8-over 80 performance on Saturday, Keller’s total score stands at 14-over par 158, following her first round score of 6-over 78.

The team is also seeing contributions from several other players:
- Holly Knudsen: Tied for 35th at 23-over par 167 (82-85)
- Taylor Cormier: Tied for 40th at 26-over par 170 (82-88)

Minnesota State, Mankato leads the championships by a significant margin of 18 strokes, finishing the day with a total score of 23-over par 605. Emerson Garlie of Minnesota State holds a firm grip on the individual title, boasting a score of 1-over par 145, which puts her 5 strokes ahead of the competition.
