Lynchburg Men’s Track & Field Team Dominates ODAC Championships
Harrisonburg, Va. – The University of Lynchburg men’s track & field team made history by accumulating 273 points at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Outdoor Championships, marking the second-highest total ever recorded in the event’s history. This achievement secures their fifth consecutive title.

Lynchburg’s men’s squad showcased exceptional talent, with first-place finishes in 10 out of 20 scored events, setting several conference championship records in the process. The Hornets crushed three men’s championship records, courtesy of standout performances from various athletes:
- 4x100m Relay: The team of Michael Hamm, Jaylen Jones, Nick Raya, and Tristan Wright finished in 40.96 seconds, marking the 16th-fastest time in Division III history.
- 800m Run: Tor Hotung-Davidsen claimed first place with a time of 1:50.71, breaking his own meet record by two seconds.
- 5,000m Run: Chasen Hunt dominated the event, achieving a new meet record with a time of 14:38.40, winning by an impressive 18 seconds.

- Tristan Wright secured the conference title in the 100m with a 10.39-second finish.
