Lehigh Women’s Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule

Allentown, Pennsylvania – The Lehigh University women’s basketball team, fresh off claiming the Patriot League championship, has announced its schedule for the 2025-26 season. Under the guidance of head coach Addie Micir, the Mountain Hawks are set for a competitive season consisting of 29 games, including 14 matches at their home court, Stabler Arena.

Season Kickoff and Early Matchups

The season is set to commence on November 4 with an exciting matchup against the University of Cincinnati, part of the Big 12 Conference. This game holds personal significance for junior Whitney Lind, who returns to her home state of Kentucky for this contest. Following this, on November 8, Lehigh will face Fairfield, the two-time reigning MAAC champions.

Home Games Spectacle

Lehigh’s home opener is scheduled for November 11 against La Salle, marking the start of a three-game home stretch. This series will also include games against defending America East champion Vermont on November 15 and a rematch with La Salle on November 19.

Thanksgiving in California

Leading into the Thanksgiving holiday, the Mountain Hawks will head to Northern California. This trip features matchups against the Stanford Cardinal on November 23 and the University of San Francisco on November 25, reuniting several players including juniors Gracyn Lovette and sophomores Keshia Vitalicio and Belle Bramer with their home roots in the area.

Matchups with Ivy League Teams

After the holiday, Lehigh will welcome two Ivy League challengers to Stabler Arena, with Brown visiting on November 30 and Cornell on December 3. Subsequent to these games, the team travels to Mount St. Mary’s on December 7, wrapping up their pre-exam slate.

Pursuing Challenges in the Patriot League

The Patriot League schedule will begin on December 31, kicking off with a rematch against Army, the same opponent that faced Lehigh in last year’s championship. The league home opener occurs shortly after, with Bucknell visiting on January 3.

Rivalry Events and Key Home Games

Lehigh’s rivalry games against Lafayette are scheduled as doubleheaders with the men’s teams. The first doubleheader will take place at Stabler Arena on January 24, while the return match is set for February 14 at Lafayette.

The Mountain Hawks have additional league home games planned against notable rivals including Colgate (January 10), Boston University (January 14), and American (March 4), which will also be the regular season finale.

Looking Ahead

The Patriot League Tournament is set for March 7, 9, 12, and 15, paving the way for postseason action.

Tickets for single games and season packages for the 2025-26 Lehigh women’s basketball season will be available for purchase starting in October.

Coach Micir’s Vision

Reflecting on the upcoming season, Coach Addie Micir remarked, “We’ve built our non-league schedule to be a true test, facing NCAA Tournament participants and perennial powerhouses to prepare us for the Patriot League grind. We’re also thrilled to bring our team to our players’ hometowns, giving our fans and alumni in the Midwest and the Bay Area a chance to see us play live.”
