Performance Highlights: Ithaca College Women’s Lacrosse
On May 6, the Liberty League announced its annual awards for the women’s lacrosse season, recognizing outstanding performances from players at Ithaca College. With a season record of 13-6 and fresh off their second consecutive Liberty League title, the Bombers are set to compete in the NCAA Division III Championship against Oswego in Middlebury, Vermont this weekend.
First Team Selections
Lily Cody has received her second postseason honor from the Liberty League, escalating from last year’s second-team selection. This season, she leads Ithaca in several categories, including:
- Goals: 52
- Points: 73
- Free Position Goals: 16
- Draw Controls: 98
- Assists: 21
- Caused Turnovers: 16
- Ground Balls: 26
Within the Liberty League, her rankings placed her third in points, fourth in draw controls, and fifth in goals.
Elizabeth Green earned her first career postseason accolade after a remarkable senior season. Previously, Green had accumulated 38 goals and 32 ground balls over her career. This season alone, she achieved:
- Goals: 46
- Assists: 8
- Total Points: 54
- Ground Balls: 40
- Draw Controls: 24
- Caused Turnovers: 16
Kaitlyn Russell has now received her third selection, having been honored as a second team member in 2023 and earning honorable mention in 2024. As an essential part of Ithaca’s defensive lineup, she contributed:

Second Team Recognition
In her sophomore year, Kelly Augeri has emerged as a prominent scorer within the Liberty League, netting 51 goals and assisting 16 times for a total of 67 points. She also collected 26 ground balls and was named the Liberty League Championship Most Outstanding Performer, scoring 13 goals across three games.
Third Team Acknowledgment
Maggie Mandel concludes her time at South Hill with a second career postseason selection, previously earning second-team honors in 2024. A consistent defensive presence, Mandel has recorded:

- Caused Turnovers: 12
Over her five years, she has participated in 85 games, maintaining a streak of 79 consecutive starts.
