Kutztown University Women’s Track & Field Achievements at PSAC Outdoor Championships
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — The Kutztown University women’s track & field team commenced their competition at the 2025 PSAC Outdoor Championships on Thursday, showcasing impressive performances, particularly in the 10,000 meter run.
Notable Performances in the 10,000 Meter Run
Maura Lenhart, representing Center Valley, Pa., secured a seventh-place finish with a personal season-best time of 38:58.01, edging out her previous year’s eighth-place finish. This achievement earned Kutztown its first two team points of the championship.
Sage Dunkleberger from Watsontown, Pa., also had a commendable performance in the same event. She started the race in 17th place but strategically advanced into the top 10, finishing ninth with a personal best time of 39:21.13.
Hammer Throw Results
The team featured participation from Kennedy Bulger and Kate Nolan in the hammer throw competition. Bulger placed 16th with a throw of 40.85 meters (134 feet), while Nolan finished 20th, achieving a longest throw of 38.43 meters (126 feet).
Upcoming Events
The Golden Bears are set to compete in multiple events on Friday, beginning at 10 a.m. Events include preliminary heats in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 400m hurdles, and the 4x100m relay. The team will also participate in point-earning events such as the 3000m steeplechase, high jump, and discus throw.
