Ellie Kozich Shines at DeSales Invitational

On October 11, 2025, the DeSales University women’s cross country team showcased their talent at the DeSales Invitational, securing a commendable second place overall. The standout of the event was sophomore Ellie Kozich, who claimed the individual title in a strong field of competitors.
Remarkable Performance
Kozich completed the challenging 6K course with an impressive time of 22:01.7. This achievement marked the second fastest recorded time in the history of the DeSales course, closely trailing the record set by Veronica Wheeler in 2016, who finished in under 22 minutes.

The Bulldogs’ depth was evident as the next six finishers were all first-year students:
