According to co-founder Rachel Glen, the bar aims to bring greater visibility to women’s sports, which are frequently overshadowed in traditional sports venues. “Truly we get to show the world Kansas City, and we get to highlight all the really cool stuff that Kansas City’s doing, including a women’s sports bar,” Glen stated.

The Dub KC will feature a diverse range of events, from professional soccer matches to college sports, fostering an environment that promotes gender equality in athletics. “It’s not about men or women in general.
