Keene State Invitational Overview
On October 4, 2025, the Tufts University women’s cross country team showcased a strong performance at the 27-team Keene State Invitational held in Keene, New Hampshire. The Jumbos, ranked #17 nationally, secured a commendable runner-up position with a total team score of 53.

The standout athlete for Tufts was Liz Donahue, who finished fifth overall with a time of 21:44.4 on the six-kilometer course. This marked her second consecutive top 10 finish, having previously excelled at the Purple Valley Classic on September 20.

Additional Notable Performances
Samara McVey set a personal best in the 6K, finishing 24th overall with a time of 22:34.3, further solidifying her position in Tufts’ top seven. Newcomer Lily Simmonds also contributed, finishing in 31st place with a time of 22:49.7.
Overall Team Results
Williams College emerged victorious at the meet, demonstrating dominance with an impressive team score of 17, having the top four finishers and a seventh-place runner. Colby College rounded out the top three with a score of 104, trailing behind both Williams and Tufts.
