Tanzania’s JKT Queens have emerged victorious in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA qualifiers for 2025, marking a significant achievement in their football history.

The final, held at the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya, saw JKT Queens defeat Rayon Sports WFC from Rwanda. A goal from Winfrida Gerald just five minutes into the match proved decisive for the Tanzanian team. Although Rayon Sports WFC attempted to equalize in the second half, they were unable to penetrate the solid defense of JKT Queens.
