Dr. Jessica Cundiff Named 2025 Woman of the Year at Missouri S&T
On April 9, 2025, the Missouri University of Science and Technology recognized Dr. Jessica Cundiff, an associate professor of psychological science, as the prestigious Woman of the Year during a ceremony held at Hasselmann Alumni House. This award celebrates outstanding contributions in teaching, research, and service.

The Woman of the Year award is presented annually to a tenured or tenure-track faculty member who exemplifies excellence and serves as a role model for students. Dr. Cundiff received a professional development stipend for her achievements, generously funded by Cynthia Tang, Missouri S&T alumna and founder of Insight Industries Inc.

Since joining Missouri S&T in 2015, Dr. Cundiff has made significant strides in her field. Before her tenure at the university, she was a visiting assistant professor at Colgate University and worked as a research analyst at the Computing Research Association in Washington, D.C. At Missouri S&T, she has delivered a range of psychology courses to both undergraduate and graduate students and has directed the ADVANCE Program since 2022, a National Science Foundation-funded initiative aimed at advancing equity in STEM fields.
