Illinois State Women’s Golf Concludes 15th at Illini Women’s Invitational
MEDINAH, Ill. — The Illinois State women’s golf team wrapped up its participation in the Illini Women’s Invitational, finishing in 15th place at the prestigious Medinah Country Club.
Overall Performance
The Redbirds concluded the tournament with a total score of 899, recorded over three rounds held on Monday and Tuesday. Their scores for the rounds were:
- Round 1: 300
- Round 2: 294
- Round 3: 305
Despite starting with a slower pace in the opening round, the team was unable to make significant gains in subsequent rounds.
Individual Highlights
Elise Fennell once again showcased her skills, leading the Redbirds with a final round of 71, which secured her a tie for 19th place overall. Reagan Kennedy contributed a score of 76 on the last day, placing her tied for 58th. Dani Grace Schrock recorded four birdies but finished with a score of 78, landing in a tie for 81st.

The Redbirds will conclude their fall season on October 13 at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, scheduled to take place at Sage Meadows Country Club.
