Join the Celebration of Women in Aviation Week
The Museum of Flight is excited to honor Women in Aviation Week with the Women Fly event, a complimentary aerospace career exploration for middle and high school girls, scheduled for March 15. This empowering event allows participants to connect with a diverse group of women professionals in aviation and space, while discovering a range of STEM career pathways. Notably, the keynote address will be delivered by Sarah Knights, the Director of the New Shepard Astronaut Office at Blue Origin, who has trained every astronaut crew for the New Shepard missions – a team that includes 12% of all women who have flown into space.

Additionally, the Museum operates a 3-acre Restoration Center and Reserve Collection at Paine Field in Everett (currently not open to the public).
A Hub for Aviation and Spaceflight
With a rich history in aviation, the Museum is also a vibrant center for discussions and developments within the burgeoning sector of private spaceflight. Its aviation and space library and archives are the largest on the West Coast, serving more than 150,000 individuals each year through onsite and outreach educational programs.
